No matter the occasion, rest easy knowing your event is overseen by one of the best. Jess, our Functions Coordinator, is known for her warm personality and knack for making every event feel special. Mel, our Venue Manager, oversees the daily operations to create the perfect ambiance and dining experience. And Osmar, our Bar Manager, crafts delicious cocktails, from classic margaritas to our signature selection.

Jess

Four Hundred Functions Coordinator

Jess is a dedicated and dynamic functions and events professional with a strong academic background. She holds a Bachelor of Business Management and a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Jess has built her career through valuable experiences at venues such as the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park and AHA Australia, as well as volunteering for charity events and fundraisers, giving her a well-rounded expertise in the industry.

Jess is now part of the team at Four Hundred in North Sydney, after transitioning from the Greenwood Hotel, our sister venue next door, where she helped organise a wide variety of functions and events. Jess is passionate about creating memorable experiences and thrives on fostering long-lasting and personal relationships with clients. Her goal is to ensure each guest has a fun and enjoyable time. She’s known for going above and beyond to deliver exceptional service.

Outside of work, Jess loves to travel, unwind at the beach, and has a particular fondness for Mexico – enjoying a cheeky margarita or two when she can. With her deep passion for the hospitality industry, Jess thrives in the fast-paced and sometimes chaotic world of events, always focused on delivering personalized and special experiences for every guest with us here at Four Hundred.

Melanie

Venue Manager

Melanie graduated with a 3-year degree in Hospitality Management. Mel has been working in the hospitality industry for over 6 years across a variety of venues, such as hotels, bars, and fine dining restaurants.

As a proud French native, Mel has a deep love of all things food and beverage related.

As Four Hundred Venue Manager, she is passionate about delivering excellent customer service to our guests; and is always looking for new ways to improve in her field.

Osmar

Bar Manager

In hospitality since 2008, Osmar has expanded his experience in the industry across all sorts of venues and different countries, starting off in Brazil, where he was born and raised. Osmar joined the Four Hundred team in 2023 when the venue launched, and has since taken ownership of all things beverage related, as Bar Manager.

Osmar gained plenty of knowledge of the industry and lasting skills over the years from working in a variety of hospitality venues, like cruise ships, fine dining restaurants, cocktail bars and members clubs in Ireland and Australia.

Apart from his passion for mixology, Osmar loves drawing, tattooing and sipping on a good Negroni.
